Coconut Cult Pop Up

Lucy Sparrow’s collaborative pop up with Coconut Cult brought her signature felt artistry to SoHo, New York. This unique pop up transformed the space into a fully immersive felt health food marketplace, where every shelf was lined with hand-sewn recreations of beloved brand staples. Taking over six months to make, Lucy created 9,000 individual items, each one hand-sewn and painted with incredible detail. From jars of yogurt to drink bottles, no product was left behind. Every brand’s packaging was reimagined in felt, giving visitors the surreal experience of shopping in a market place made entirely out of soft sculptures.

Guests could wander around, browse the shelves, and enjoy the tasty treats and pop up events that were happening. The installation blurred the boundaries between art and retail, celebrating the design of everyday goods while inviting audiences to see them in a new, tactile light. It was truly a joyful celebration of food, culture, and creativity.
