Lucy Sparrow’s “Triple Art Bypass” is an extraordinary and eccentric art installation that transforms the sterile environment of a medical operating room into a playful, felt-filled experience. The “Operating Theatre” features a variety of hand-sewn felt replicas, including surgical instruments, medical equipment, operating tables, and even anatomically detailed organs. The felt creations are arranged to mirror a functional surgical suite, complete with patient and instruments also rendered in felt, having a mock operation being performed.
