After 8 months of designing, cutting out, sewing, stuffing, and painting, Lucy Sparrow’s Bourdon Street Chippy officially opened its doors! Her immersive installation served up golden nostalgia in the heart of London’s Mayfair – with everything made entirely from felt in her signature style. From crispy battered cod, haddock, and sausage to mushy peas and hand-sewn cutlery, it was Britain’s most beloved takeaway reimagined in soft sculptures.
